Thai Yoga Massage – Yoga an easy Way!


Thai Yoga Massage is a holistic therapy. Its primary aim is to restore and balance the body’s energy system which comprises of a multitude of energy lines (Sen) that run through the body.2500 years back an Indian Ayurvedic doctor invented this technique in the temples of Thailand. Rooted in the Buddhist tradition, Thai Yoga Massage is as much meditation in action as it is a powerful therapy for body, mind and spirit. It combines application of pressure (produced with hands, thumbs, elbows, forearms, feet and knees) with manipulation, adjustment and applied yoga muscle stretching.

It traditionally incorporates two kinds of meditations: a Metta meditation of loving kindness and compassion and a Vipassana meditation of insight, which focuses on the receiver’s body.

Thai Yoga Massage is done on a firm futon or mat on the floor with the client dressed in light clothes. Typically a session lasts between 1 hour-1hour 30 min.
