International Day of Yoga-2017

The June Solstice is special as the International Day of Yoga. Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi addressed the UN and proposed this date to celebrate together the manifold benefits of Yoga for body, mind, and soul. On 11th December 2014, United Nations declared 21st June as International Day of Yoga. The first International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21st June 2015. This Year celebration started on 18th June itself,Australian school of Meditation and Yoga organised a Yoga Day Festival,where around 300 people prticipated and practiced Yoga together.We danced,laughed and enjoyed this afternoon a lot.I was the facilitator of ”Yoga Dance”,I hope everyone liked it.
